EN2.0 at Rotary

Education Now 2.0 (EN2.0) is excited to announce that our founder and Director, Carmel Valianti, was recently invited to speak at the Newburyport Rotary Club. The event provided an opportunity for Mrs. Valianti to discuss EN2.0's Nepal Scholars Now initiative, as well as the Tiny Tiny Houses Now initiative.

The Nepal Scholars Now project is a global partnership between EN2.0 and The New Millennium School in Kathmandu, Nepal. The project aims to promote healthy sustainable educational practices in Nepal and around the world through teacher training, curriculum development, procuring school supplies, and providing scholarships for students in need. Mrs. Valianti discussed the progress of the project and shared some of the successes and challenges faced along the way.

Mrs. Valianti also spoke about EN2.0's Tiny Tiny Houses Now initiative, which focuses on civically minded STEAM education as well as building sustainable and affordable housing for those in need. This initiative provides an opportunity for students and volunteers to learn about and participate in sustainable building practices while also making a positive impact in their communities.

The Newburyport Rotary Club members were impressed by EN2.0's dedication to promoting healthy sustainable practices in education and housing. Contact us here if you are interested in learning more or having EN2.0 speak at one of your events.
